This allows caregivers vital respite while ensuring their loved ones thrive in a nurturing, cognitively stimulating setting.

**About the GUIDE Program**

​

The Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model, launching July 1, 2025, is a Medicare initiative supporting people with dementia and their unpaid caregivers. It provides coordinated care, education, and respite services to enhance quality of life, reduce caregiver stress, and promote aging in place. Medicare covers care navigation, 24/7 support, and services like Bon Jour Social and Leisure Center or our Dedicated Sitters services using alternative payment models to ease caregiver burnout.
